Product Efficiency
Truma has always taken pride in developing energy-efficient systems for the RV market. For many RVers, efficiency isn’t just a selling point but a lifestyle. Each of our systems has a high efficiency of up to 98%. As we continue to design future products, our team keeps efficiency and environmentally friendly features as high priorities to meet customer needs.
Energy Efficient Headquarters
When it came time to build our North American headquarters, it was important to be as environmentally conscious as possible. Our offices and warehouse were built with a geothermal heating and cooling system, as well as motion-activated LED lighting. To make our building even more energy efficient, we installed solar panels in 2020.

Environmentally Conscious Culture
Our team members think and act in an environmentally friendly and sustainable manner throughout the year. They seek out ways to protect the great outdoors through their work and lifestyle. To promote our mission, our team gives back to the Elkhart community by hosting an annual Earth Day “Spring Clean-up” celebration in cooperation with the City of Elkhart Parks and Recreation Department.
Recycling
When developing and manufacturing products, we use recyclable materials and treat the water used at our manufacturing facilities worldwide.
Solar power
Our building generates “green” electricity with solar power, which covers about half of our electricity consumption.
Environment
Because they use propane, Truma products are low-emission and environmentally friendly.
Corporate culture
Our team members practice sustainability on campus daily, with reusable dishes in the breakroom and recycling bins throughout the facility
