CIVD honours Truma family of entrepreneurs with silver medal of honour
At the Caravan Salon 2023 in Düsseldorf, the Caravaning Industrie Verband e.V., or CIVD for short, awarded Renate Schimmer-Wottrich (Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Truma Group) and Alexander Wottrich (Co-CEO of the Truma Group) with the Silver Medal of Honour.
With the Silver Medal of Honour, the CIVD honours special entrepreneurial achievements and outstanding commitment to the caravanning industry.
“The Truma Group can look back on an eventful and successful company history. The management is already in its third generation, but the basis of the company’s management has remained the same: excellent products, innovative strength and the responsible treatment of employees characterise the company. For these achievements, the CIVD awarded Renate Schimmer-Wottrich and Alexander Wottrich the Medal of Honour in Silver,” said the CIVD.
There were a total of three honours at the general meeting: The Schell family from the motorhome manufacturer Phoenix were also honoured with silver this year. The outgoing President Hermann Pfaff received the Medal of Honour in Gold. The Truma Group is the first and only supplier in the industry to receive the Medal of Honour in Silver.
